| Common Europe Congress day pass winners announced | |
| 16 May 2007 Last week, the IBM CUA/Common UK teamed up with iNEWSWire UK for a competition to win two free day passes to the System i event of the year, the 2007 Common Europe Congress at The Tower Hotel in London next week, May 19-22.
We asked the question: “Who is considered to be the ‘father of the System i’?” The answer to which is, of course, Doctor Frank Soltis, IBM’s chief scientist for System i, who is giving a keynote speech at the event.
The lucky winners of the passes, worth £225 apiece, were Steven Heard of Global Prospects and Rob Bishop of Royal Sun Alliance. Congratulations to you both.
There is still time to register for the Common Europe Congress, so to check out the full details, see http://www.ibm-cua.org.uk/CEC2007/CEC2007.htm.
The System i NEWS UK team will be attending the event, so if you bump into any of us, don’t be shy and say hello. See you there.
