Linoma Software has released Crypto Complete, a solution for protecting sensitive data on the System i with encryption technology and integrated key management.

The new product features automated encryption of fields within System i database files. Encryption keys can be rotated without having to re-encrypt existing data and small database fields can be encrypted without requiring field expansion.

Crypto Complete also features encryption of both alphanumeric and numeric database fields, strong encryption with key lengths up to 256 bits. It complies with both the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) and Data Encryption Standard (TDES) and also offers audit trails and reporting. The software has a key management facility that allows organisations to create, manage and protect the keys used for encryption and decryption. These keys are additionally protected with master keys which can only be regenerated with an exact combination of up to eight different pass-phrases.

Crypto Complete runs on OS/400 releases V5R2 and higher.
