| Help/Systems builds web-based access into more Robot offerings | |
| 20 November 2007 Help/Systems has released Robot Browser Interface 2.0, its web browser-based interface for its System i system management solutions.
The Robot Browser Interface provides web-based access to five Robot products: Robot/SCHEDULE, Robot/NETWORK, Robot/REPORTS, Robot/SPACE, and Robot/ALERT.
Robot/SCHEDULE users can use the Robot Browser Interface to view and filter the status of Robot/SCHEDULE jobs, view coloured icons for a quick visual reference of the job type and status of each job, and view their Good Morning Report.
Robot/NETWORK users can use the Robot Browser Interface Statuses page to view, filter, and reply to statuses, and, again, view their Good Morning Report. Robot/REPORTS users can use the interface to view, save, and print System i reports to a PC or System i printer, add notes to reports, and create a personalised “My Reports” page, which allows the user to specify whether they want your reports stopped, how they should be printed, and other options.
Robot/SPACE users can view ASP usage and thresholds across multiple systems or partitions. The ASP display indicates the percentage of storage space used plotted against the time range that the user specifies. Robot/ALERT users can send a message to selected users. Users just select a device, select a single recipient or broadcast list, and enter the text of the message.
