Raz-Lee Security announces new auditing, reporting and compliance capabilities
12 September 2007

Raz-Lee Security has made enhancements to its iSecurity System i security and compliance product suite.

Nearly 300 built-in compliance-ready reports are now supplied, covering all aspects of object authority, user management, system values, network attributes and audit types. These reports can be used to assess a company's status in regards to SOX/HIPAA/ISO 17799/PCI compliance regulations. Support is provided for viewing system values and network attributes’ current site settings, baseline settings and IBM's recommended values in a single report. Support is provided for sites to set baselines at any time.

The company says that its new auditing, reporting and compliance capabilities provide one-stop solutions to auditors’ and system administrator’s requests for reporting in multi-server environments. Reports can be executed and viewed or printed either on remote systems or locally, and can be set up for execution on pre-defined groups of servers.

The built-in auditing and compliance reports are packaged together with explanations detailing the importance of the particular report for auditors. For individual reports, references are provided to specific paragraphs and sections in the various compliance regulation documents. Companies can tailor the reports to specific site requirements and naming conventions, can define new reports and can schedule execution of individual or groups of reports as necessary.

Java-based GUI functionality allows users to define, submit and view reports from individual workstations. Back-dated reports which were saved can be viewed at any time. All reports can be produced in multiple formats including HTML, PDF and Excel and can be sent directly to any number of email recipients or printers. The product includes an embedded Excel-like spreadsheet for viewing, analysing and graphing reports run on the System i.
